The Story Behind the Campaign
The Snowsuit Campaign has been offered to the Prescott-Russell community by Groupe Action since 2005. Every year, a fundraiser is organized to purchase and distribute new and high-quality snowsuits to children 12 years and under in need, helping them get through the harsh Ontario winters. On average, we have managed to keep 400 children warm each winter. With the support of our staff and the generosity of the community, businesses, and organizations of Prescott-Russell, we are able to fulfill all the requests we receive every year.
Groupe Action has established good relationships with a supplier who is able to provide us with high-quality snow suits at an affordable price because we buy in bulk. Children receive only new snowsuits.

The Snowsuit Campaign is getting a fresh start to better support the Prescott-Russell community!
This year, the Snowsuit Campaign is changing to better meet the growing demand and help even more families. Our goal is clear: to offer high-quality snowsuits at more affordable costs for our campaign, so more children can enjoy winter warmly.
How does it work this year?
Simplify Your Life! Starting June 20, eligible families can easily register online. No more booking appointments! You can fill out a form directly on our website, upload your eligibility documents, and indicate the necessary sizes for your children, all from the comfort of your home.
Please note that without the documents supporting your request, we will not be able to order a snowsuit for your child(ren).
When and where to pick up your snowsuit?
Distribution will take place on October 25, from 9 AM to 3 PM, at our Family Centres in Embrun, Hawkesbury, and Rockland. When you register online, you’ll simply choose the pickup location that suits you best. You must bring your child(ren) with you on the distribution day. We do not provide snowsuits without confirming that the purchased size fits the child.
Don’t worry, reminders will be sent to make sure you don’t miss anything!
We look forward to helping you this winter!
